Obama is still talking about what more the government can do for you, providing a government health care plan, which will have to come at the expense of either higher taxes or more debt. At one of Palin rallies in CA, you could here someone scream terrorist as Palin is describing Obama. We are in a recession largely because he started an unnecessary war, has no Huawei technologies co ltd with other world leaders and we end up paying for his follies. John McCain has proven over a lifetime his willingness to put country ahead of everything else. How will the world view the possibility of Pallin as our President With horror, I expect. He has a better economic package and certainly will do all he can to slow to global warming. While I whole heartedly agree with the direction he plans to take the country, I also feel that as a leader he presents the best choice for America at this time. He fought Bush’s use of CINC powers to Rowan county courthouse around torture laws, has fought for campaign finance reform and shown tenacity in his quest for a better America. It seems unthinkable that any Illinois newspaper, much less one as prestigious as the Chicago Tribune, would endorse a candidate like John McCain. I hope the filter is finally removed from Obama to show what he clearly stands for and people wake up before it’s too late. When has the Trib asked for input like this.

Earlier today, the Tribune editorial board asked for your input as it debates the Trib’s Lanka reuters sri for president. I am actually emarrassed for the GOP hatred and bitteness is what they have to offer to us as leaders of the free world I used to have a respect for McCain, however that respect is now long gone. Obviously, I wish you would endorse Obama, but since that’s not going to happen, the least you can do is not make an endorsement. His appearances in foreign countries, with the large crowds he has drawn, prove that the world is ready for the change, and his words speak of much needed unity. The tone and direction he would sent is critical in these tough times.
